Syphilis

Posted by be in mood Thursday, 1 December 2011

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacteria Treponema Pallidum.

It is transmitted through intercourse and blood.

Sexually transmitted Syphilis develops in three stages: first rashes and sores, then head-aches and full-body rashes and finally a chronic infection in brain and spinal cord, in the artery by the heart and in the connective tissue of the skin.

Syphilis is easily treated with Penicillin. You can screened for Syphilis at your doctor or at a venereal clinic.

Proper and consistent use of a latex condom substantially reduces, but does not completely eliminate, the spread of syphilis through sexual contact.
